Antón Campos

Antón Campos is a vocational computer engineer -as much for being a computer specialist as for being an engineer.

He earned his degree at the University of Corunna in 1995.
He worked first as an a analyst-programmer in small companies, then as Oracle DBA for big organizations such as Banco Pastor –for more than three years, or R Cable –for more than four years.

In 2006 he decided to make the most of his knowledge of databases and his training to find his own place in the professional services market with independence, freedom and responsibility. Since then, he has worked as a freelancer, being specialized in Oracle database administration, and his services as DBA -mainly including Oracle DB maintenance, installations, migrations and support- have been demanded both in Spain and abroad.

In 2007, firmly convinced of the relevant role of computer engineering in society, he was elected member of the Board of Directors of the Galician Professional Association of Computer Engineers, CPEIG. To date, he has collaborated with this association in different projects that contribute to add value to the computer science professional community.

In 2008 he started the company Antón Campos Consultores, without losing his professional, rather than managerial vision. His friend and colleague Alberto Pereiro joined the project in 2009 in order to widen the possibilities and services offered, always within the context of Oracle database administration. He has contributed to higher service availability, sharing the ideals and goals set and pursued by Antón since 2006.

Currently, they keep on working with a clear focus on offering a global service to a multicultural Europe that revolves around the big metropolises that form it.
